Away ticket criteria

You could get to quite a few aways with 7k points. Our points system is far better and much fairer than a ballot
Perhaps just a few tickets could be offered in a ballot, otherwise many folk will have to wait for some longer serving supporters to die before they get a crack at certain grounds?
I had a s/t from '77 to '09 before redundancy meant I had to give it up (yep!, how's yer luck with that timing??) and now just have a cityzens card as I'm stuck in London, but my 32 years holding a s/t only accrued me 4500pts under today's membership - how long have folk had s/tkts to have >20000pts in the bank? Or did some of mine somehow disappear when I wasn't a member?

Im in my 60’s and I’m thinking of going to try and go to some aways next season. I’ve been a season ticket for years but only have around 7000 points which probably won’t allow me to qualify for anything. Do we have any type of ballot like what the rags have or am I pretty much destined to be an armchair away fan for a lifetime now?
I have fewer points that you and I got an away ticket for Arsenal, Palace and the league game at Southampton, could have got the cup at Saints too. There's always a supporters club chance of getting an away ticket too if you join one.

You lost 1,000 for being a ST holder, or did in those days. The 1,500 you got initially should have been reduced to 500.

In 2017/18 under the old rules (away points for away and neutral games) you could gain 2,340 points. So it could have been done in 8 seasons given the 1000 bonus at that rate. Depending on age you could get in every game starting from a new season ticket holder.

You basically need to have had a season ticket on platinum and been on all cup schemes since we moved.I have 22k points - I got the 1k from Maine Rd, been on all cup schemes and platinum every year and before covid was doing at least 15 away games a year (used to get points for them).

Best season I have done was 53 games in 2017 /18 (centurions). I was knackered by the end of season, I don't know how some cope doing every game both financially and physically year in year out. What I will say is they deserve first dabs at tickets for the effort they put in, yes its a joy but its also a killer doing 3 games a week, week in week out.

As long as it eats into the corporate allocation. Every time a new idea is brought in 18-25 eg it comes out of the loyalty pot. Not the corp or supp club pot !!!
means the ones on reasonably high points who have got there by actually going to places like Sunderland and Swansea on a wed night might just miss out.

I have never had a season ticket but managed to go to Arsenal, West ham, Atletico Madrid, Southampton and Crystal Palace this year. i got all the tickets directly from the club. Most of these games were midweek or early kick off so much easier to get. As city fans we are lucky because its pretty much impossible to get away tickets for clubs like Liverpool, Rags etc. At least we get an opportunity

22k wasnt enough for Brentford, Burnley, Liverpool this year. Only used to be Bournemouth I couldnt get tickets for due to small allocation, but seem to be dropping down the pecking order despite paying platinum and on all cup schemes. More tickets are definitely coming out of the pot and going somewhere
I'm on 21900 and the only one I've missed out on is Brentford. I got both Burnley and Liverpool on my points and neither of them with restricted view.
