Don't think there is much difference between the two tbh.And watch the ticket touts prosper.
Both sell tickets to fans who haven't earnt the points to qualify for them.
Both deprive fans with high points totals match tickets.

No they didn't, not in any way, shape or form.
As long as more Blues got in the game who cares. The real issue is the last minute return from Sponsors with the Club rushing around to get fans for the tickets

Iv'e said this many a time...
Take away the tickets from supporters clubs and watch the memberships dwindle.
There’s more chance of Supoorters Club memebrs becoming the majority of the match going fan base like what happens in some German Clubs.
The majority of Supporters Club memebrs are season card holders and don’t go away games.

I have two family members on lowish points (2000+)who go to the vast majority of away games with a SC.Are these the same Supporters Club Branches who turn people away if they think they are just interested in Away tickets

At the same time I have mates with 10000 plus points who have missed out

I agree the system needs some changes to restore confidence. You have your views about SCs. The people on the Face Value ticket pages deride the points system champions for points whoring etc.
Btw how do you famiky members manage to go most away games and stay on circa 2,000 points?

Because they are given other peoples tickets by the SC.
The SC harbour some of the worst offending point whores. Imho
