This problem goes hand in hand with the Platinum and Gold issue. As long as people can get double points for simply paying £50 they will always be pulling further away from those that can't afford it.
To my mind the points system is the fairest way to reward loyalty, yes it has its problems but if you have been going since the shit days you deserve to have first dibs. If you have been paying £50 since 2008 you don't.

I think the current points system is pretty fair. And I say that given it affexts me massively. Had it started in the 1980s I know having gone to every game home and away for 10-15 years I would be laughing. Unfortunately it started when i moved countries and went through a number of years where I only went to a small no of aways. Now I can do all again but have dropped down the points tally. Problem is whatever system you have will always have Anomalies or areas where it is unfair. Ours isn’t perfect (platinum or hospitality) but it could be worse

I don't buy this 'issue' with the system. Spurs, Lyon, Leicester in the cup, Cardiff, Saints, Newcastle, shaktar have all gone down to GS or to extremely low points.

Problem is some fans want to do the Everton Liverpool United, Burnley ETC. Well, if you've not got the points to do it like me, go to the others. I've only got 9k points, went Hoff, Shaktar, Spurs, Leicester Saints and Newcastle. Make the most of what you can get and stop moaning about not being able to go to Huddersfield.

Great post. All this bitching and moaning basically boils down to the fact that people can't get a ticket for about 5 games out of 60 a season!

Loyalty scheme is what it is, rewards loyalty with points.

The thing that is wrong with it are the spares accounts on Twitter, literally being offered moments after sale and whilst still on sale. So clearly some fuckers are buying to keep points and just flogging to get the cash back.

Facebook use to be the place for the point hoarders.
The amount of tickets sold per week on that page was staggering.
The home season tickets were going for double the worth in some cases.
The divided by 19 rule did not apply over there.

Tommy Cooks doesn't provide tickets, There Euro trips Clearly state you can't board the plane if you haven't got a ticket.
