Away tickets

It's not always about putting the miles in though

Lots of lads/lasses refused to pay the Platinum vs Gold points buying. Now they are miles behind.

I also didnt agree with that aspect of season cards.

Nobody agrees with Platinum, but if your goal is to accumulate enough points to watch City away, you just have to pay it (assuming you can afford to).

When it first came in it was a case of pay it or get left behind

Gorton Blue I do agree with you on that score. However some years back I lost nearly a full year of missing games due to family being in hospital. So now I pay the extra to try and claw back some of the lost points.

However I have another point I want to get across. That is of fans standing at away games. I would love to go to some of the away games. However as the fans are always standing, and I have a bad back I cannot stand for 45mins at a time so I have stopped going to the away games. It is wrong that the club, is selling tickets to fans and does not insist that they must be seated when they buy a ticket.

If you ring up for your ticket sometimes the ticket office can get you in row 1 nota very good view at most places tho

Oh how I agree with you! I always ask for a front row seat for the away matches but it doesn't make a bit of difference really because most people stand. That wouldn't be so bad if they didn't also bring their friends along as well so that you end up with 3 and 4 for one 'seat'.

If I can't get a front row I ask for an aisle seat so that I can at least see some of the pitch. That also doesn't always work but mostly fans are helpful if they see I can't stand.

However I don't blame our club, I blame the host clubs who have stewards who don't insist on it for the first few rows at least. The only place this season where I have seen and heard stewards making people sit down was at Newport County. They were great, and our fans were great as well.

Sunday was almost the worst experience I have had in all my years of travelling to away grounds. Don't even get me started on the selfish drunken behaviour of some of our fans there and the turn a blind eye stewards from Burnley. (Not just for me but for others as well!)

Becoming more and more of a problem drunk fans at away games.Nothing worse than 4 fans on the piss trying to squeeze into a space for 2 seats next to you.
Half time comes and they fuck off only to be replaced by another couple of knobheads.
I find it hard to stand all game due to my dodgy knees but prefer near the back at away games.
At least you get only one per seat near the back.

stubhub seems to have a number of tickets in the city section for the brighton game, even naming the seats, surely very easy to trace.
