Peter Sutcliffe would struggle, although I here he's President of the HM Frankland Branch, so maybe all's not lost.
Peter is a rag lol. He went for the Remi Moses hairstyle too

I used to go to 9-12 aways a season and couldn’t get tickets for that game.In 2010 people who went 3 or 4 aways a season still got tickets for the Burnley away champions league chasing game - it would be good to see the points system restored and not just the token effort.
Three seasons ago I had enough points for an adult and a junior pull through. This year despite attending more away games over the past three seasons than the previous three I am not even near. So either the number of tickets being sold via the points scheme is dramatically lower or a hundreds of fans have not only earns more points than me but they have far exceeded me. Maybe some have but not nearly enough for me not to get anywhere near.In 2010 people who went 3 or 4 aways a season still got tickets for the Burnley away champions league chasing game - it would be good to see the points system restored and not just the token effort.

Tbf the allocation at Burnley has been drastically cut.Three seasons ago I had enough points for an adult and a junior pull through. My bad, you are correct. That said 2000 increase when each year that would seem unlikely still suggests some jiggery pockery. Until the club are more transparent though we will never know.Tbf the allocation at Burnley has been drastically cut.
In 14/15 we had over 4000 tickets and it sold out at 9000 points. They were relegated that year.
In 16/17 the allocation was cut to 2400 and sold out at 15,000 points.
The sell out has increased each year by 2000 points since then.
Honestly mate I’m not bullshitting you. Can't have been for very long then can it? Since 2001 when points got awarded for aways, a max of 36, plus cup schemes and home cup games.
A very disingenuous statement a best PB, as assume you did it for 2 or 3 seasons tops if what you are saying is true, or where in a supporters club which did not allocate you the points.
Whilst I’m not atypical in the last three years my points have gone up by 2130, 2120 and 2270My bad, you are correct. That said 2000 increase when each year that would seem unlikely still suggests some jiggery pockery. Until the club are more transparent though we will never know.

Me and my lad had been doing away games since moving to the Etihad. Our first one together was that 3-2 at Blackburn in August 2003 & he loved it so we started going to as many as we could from then on. We had Platinum & I think we were on the cup schemes. Think we must have had about 8k points around that time. Could normally get tickets for most away games, bar United. Even went to Anfield a few times, all on our own points. But couldn’t get them for that game. I suspect it was a lower allocation rather than anything else.
Tbf Colin, people could have bought tickets for thirteen games so far this season, without any points (granted three of those were Euro aways) and last season you could have only done that at ten (and yet again three Euro aways).Honestly mate I’m not bullshitting you.

None of these figures possibly stack upHonestly mate I’m not bullshitting you.

Yep you would have done. They sold out at 3500None of these figures possibly stack up
There was no platinum no cup scheme in them days 190 for a season ticket and 10 points per game
Eg when we played Shalke in 2008 it remember getting a ticket easily on 4000 points
This was back in 2010 but yes, in one sense it does mean the points system is working. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be better. I think there’s little disagreement that it’s a good system in principle and it will carry on but there are weaknesses that mean people who should be entitled to tickets via their points.Tbf Colin, people could have bought tickets for thirteen games so far this season, without any points (granted three of those were Euro aways) and last season you could have only done that at ten (and yet again three Euro aways).
The die is cast, it is possible to get to more than half of the away games with no points. It’s the big games that sell out at high points.
However wouldn’t that be normal?
And wouldn’t that reflect the points system in place working.
Yes by allegedly introducing measures even Thatcher couldn’t get through. This was back in 2010 but yes, in one sense it does mean the points system is working. Unfortunately the new measures seem to be targeted at the people you admire the most, whilst also reducing their allocation again.I'm a neutral in this debate as I'm not overly interested in away games as I'm 64, still working and driving all over visiting customers. That said I know plenty of hardcore away supporters who go week in, week out. The good thing City Matters has done is to bring into the open that only 60% of away tickets go to LOYALTY points holders. This is a fucking disgrace. I have no problem whatsoever with people who have travelled away lots more time than me getting tickets. What I do have a problem with is Platinum (buying points), corporate and people in supporters clubs getting tickets before LOYALTY points holders.

YepThe reality is that the club seems to want to reduce the hardcore older support in favour of younger fans, corporate, tourists etc.
The sad fact is that we are a business and FOCs are not revenue generating.
I'm sorry you have read my post in a manor that was not intended,I would never ever talk to you or anyone else in a shitty manor and at the age of 63 I am not a petulant child nor do I need help as I am in the top quartile in the loyalty system.Interesting that you've made an assumption that the club has fucked up in some way. I don't know the answer to that & neither do you. Also interesting that it seems like you're aiming a dig at me for not bringing this up, as though I should be scanning the forum and bringing up every possible complaint without being asked by someone to do so.
If you had said "PB - can you bring this up at your next meeting?" via my City Matters email then I'd happily do so. But posting something that makes you sound like a petulant little child doesn't encourage me to help you out. I'm getting increasingly fed up of being spoken to like shit and the sooner some of you realise this the better it will be for all of us.
