Away tickets

Hi all

I'm looking to get tickets for the game on Saturday, but the website is only offering postal delivery option. Is it likely that the tickets will turn up by Saturday? I also note that it isn't possible to collect in person.

Would be grateful for advice

If you buy them online you can pick them up at Wembley
There is a box office at city's end which is opening at 1330 hours on Saturday and will be staffed by city ticket office staff

When I add to basket, the only option afterwards is postal delivery. I can't even untick it, and there isn't any option about picking up in person. Any ideas??

They may send you an email to say they can’t post them and will organize a print at home ticket for you

Give the ticket office a call tomorrow instead of going through the website.

Someone confirming over the phone is worth the peace of mind.

I bought my ticket the first day they came on sale and still haven't got mine so I wouldn't hold out much hope they could get them to you.

God help anyone who has to go and collect their tickets from any ticket office staff

My experience with having to collect a ticket which did not arrive for West Brom away ended up with no ticket being at the office and me having to push in with a mate, nearly broke my finger

To be fair we had to collect at Wembley for the Chelsea game and it was piss easy, walked up no queue and it took all of 2 mins.
 
To foil the TalkShite seat counters can those of us who are going take a change of tops and keep swapping seats, there will be no need to pretend to go out onto the bar area and then back in, just keep swapping rows.

I had a problem with tickets not arriving for the Chelsea FA Cup semi-Final back in 2013. I phoned the box office and replacements were organised. I collected the replacement tickets at Wembley within taking one minute maximum.
 
Just spotted Burnley away tickets have been on sale all day.
I’d stopped checking the website as I thought we were now getting a text reminder for when tickets go on sale.
Guess what? No text message. Complete fluke that I spotted these had gone on sale.
If you’re going to have a system of notifying fans then stick to it or scrap it.

Same here mate, still travelling back from London and thought I’d take a quick peek at Twitter. Noticed City had tweeted that Burnley tickets were on sale to 21,000 points 43 minutes ago.
WTF, that means mine were on sale earlier, cheers City.

Don’t know if there would have been more choice earlier but I didn’t want to get tickets in block 13

I think blocks 11 & 12 are reserved for Corporate/Staff/Belgium Supporters Club/Thomas Cook/Ryanair. The best seats for those most deserving

Ahhh, makes perfect sense. My 56 years of supporting City pale into insignificance compared to those guys, I mustn’t forget to doff my cap and tug my forelock as I pass them to my pauper’s seats in front of them.

It'll be OK you'll be able to move as the seats will be half empty because they'll realise where Burnley is, that snakebite isn't a cocktail and a 10" jumbo sausages aren't hor d'oeuvres

11 and 12 were on sale earlier, oddly it was 1 and 17 which had no availability in the morning when I went on.

Yes they went on sale 11am and I got on just before 12pm and still all bar 1 and 17 on sale- I chose 10 near the exit though, it can be a right ball ache there for the bogs, so quick nip there and back during an injury.

Didn’t even know they were on sale until I checked my Twitter, which is rare, at 15:45
