Away tickets

I can’t remember there being a bad view in any of the Away blocks at Burnley.

Anyway, this fixture is the points whores day out but hardly anybody mentions it because the guys we don’t see for the rest of the season are middle aged and scruffy

Funny you should say that. It’s the day when I get to meet members of the Supporters Club exec

Thinking of setting up a tunnel club supporters club just to ensure have a chance of extra tickets if the corporate ballot ever goes tits up.

Bumping this because I had no idea they were on sale until I stumbled across this thread this morning. May not be the only one.

There are pillars so it depends on your position in relation them.

I see the same faces at Burnley as I do everywhere else. It sells out at a high number because its local and we get a lower allocation (and this year its looking like a crucial game). The "points whores" can only access 60% of the reduced allocation so have you considered the people you don't recognise have maybe got tickets from the other 40%?

Yes there will be the usual faces and that accounts for about 1,000 or Blues.

So in your opinion, there are 1,398 people there that are points whores who buy tickets to every game but only choose to go to Burnley and Huddersfield? The real glamour ties.

If so, do everyone a favour and ask someone from he club to join you at the game and stand on the gate and point out the points whores out as they walk in the ground.

If there are people there that I don't recognise (middle aged and scruffy or not), I have a more plausible theory how they acquired their tickets.

I wouldn’t expect to recognise everybody. There are loads of Blues who I wouldn’t know who go to some or most of the away games.

Why don’t you do people a favour and stop making stuff up. What makes our following at Burnley stand out from other games to me is that it’s usally fairly quiet for a North Weet match so people who do a lot of moaning, who I don’t recognise, stand out more.

Let’s see if there are 4 spares available from a single seller two days before the Burnley game?

If you can show me where I've made something up, then I'll happily apologise.

You criticised the crowd at Huddersfield, and you've pre-emptively criticised the crowd at Burnley.

You've said the "middle aged and scruffy" points whores will turn up to Burnley so the atmosphere won't be very good because of them, and now those same points whores will be selling 4 spares before the game, so presumably won't be there. Which one is it?

If the league is still in our hands when we play Burnley, the crowd will be good. If we drop points and its in Liverpool's hands then the crowd may well be shit. The people in attendance won't change that either way.

How does a single seller aquire 4 tickets for Burnley or any other match
A points whore can only get 1 ticket per match.
You really should think before you open your mouth.
Or perhaps they could get 4 off a supporters club
