We spoke to someone who wasn’t very happy as he had been selected for collection in destination, he was refused entry to the away pub as he hadn’t got a ticket while his mates were allowed in , we do only have his word on this but had no reason not to believe him especially how angry he was.

Just takes a mate to come back out of the pub with another's ticket for him, problem solved :)

Doesn't solve the ticket collection problem though :(

There was not one. Do not let a rumour become fact.

The only collections on Saturday were for duplicate tickets, not collection via ID checks.

I would bet the lad either did not have his ID to collect his own duplicate ticket or he was collecting a ticket under someone else's name as they had chose not to go.

These are 2 separate things.

Because i was there with a good 100 or so others and it helps that no announcement was made by the club regarding these collections

IIRC, the club have said that for games that will be 'for collection', we will be told in advance (at the point the selling criteria are announced I'd assume) and the chosen few will be informed 5 days before.

I'm sure they haven't tried this yet for any of the away games so far.

I'm just curious why they haven't tried this out yet, I'd have thought Norwich was a great opportunity.

I assume they're dependent on getting agreement from the home club if it's collection from their ticket office, perhaps they haven't been very enthusiastic.

Yes probably right there.

I'm trying to think if any clubs would be up for the inconvenience of our crackpot scheme.
