I'm pretty sure that you couldn't put a single on a album that was released the same year.Why not? They recorded Hey Jude during the White Album sessions, but released it as a single a couple of months before the album came out. Although uncommon for the Beatles to put single releases onto their albums, they had nonetheless done it before.....Please please me, Can’t buy me love, Ticket to ride, Eleanor Rigby. Also, the flip side, Revolution, appeared on the White Album, albeit as an acoustic
I'd go with Wonderwall too. Mad that it's the song a lot of people associate them with, one of their weakest singles
