The bloke has been immense this season, he had a bad game last night and will have other bad games. Cant believe people are calling him. Saying it as it was is fine everyone plays shit and makes howlers and get called out on it. Giving a player abuse about it isnt on.

This is the thing I hate most about social media. People (many of whom hide their identity in their profile) tweeting at a professional talking shite when they would never say it to their face. And as you said, it's so easy to just not do it. When City lose I'm mad and sad but I'm not going to go out of my way to talk bad to the players whom bring me incredible joy for nine months of the year because of one poor performance.

I'm not saying players can't be criticized, but tweeting at them is just so childish.
 
Examples like this just show that " social media " is a platform for some disgraceful behavior in the hands of immature and ignorant individuals .
 
Exactly the time we need to get behind the lad. We need him for the upcoming 6 games this season!
 
was a liability these two games against the spuds, maybe it had to do with them sending pacy guys from behind? Gundogan isnt able to shield the cb's as well as ferna, and ferna looks a bit off physically. might be related to laportes struggles, idk

He wasn't today. Mostly win his battles with Son. Amazing slide block to save one goal and short him off on 3 occasions. Son got luck on one coz the ball richocetted off Raz and back to him.

Wasn't a stellar game but wasn't a bad either.
 
That block on Son was incredible. Was poor on wednesday, but he really is a world class defender
 
Looked shaky again today and definitely struggles against pace. He has been brilliant this season, but the last 2 games his level has dropped a bit.
 
He has played an awful lot of games and I suspect he has some fatigue creeping in
 
The pass that put Son through was sublime and probably gave him 3-5 clean strides on Laporte. That Laporte managed to close him down and then get the block in was incredible effort. Son is no Mbappe but he's no slouch either.
 
Made a couple of errors recently but has played almost every game so it was bound to happen. Two more games this week before we drop to weekly fixtures and the players can regain energy and overcome fatigue.
 
He was brilliant the whole season up until last week. I don’t know if it is down to tiredness but should he replicate same mistakes in the coming games ,he will cost us the league. I hope he will get himself together and overcome his recent setback.
