Laporte is basically like having KDB in defence.

Hope the locker room politics on the French national team get worked out and he features soon. Laporte deserves at least one callup even if somebody is ahead of him.

Amazing pass by Laporte to create the opening goal. His passing is class we need to see more of it. Remember his debut against West brom he was pinging passes all over the place.

Despite all the attacking talent we have, these days I actually enjoy much more watching the inter-play and passing amongst our central defensive axis of Ederson - Stones /Laporte - Ferna.

In terms of sheer elegance and ball playing skills, that quartet I would say exceeds that of the attacking players of half of the premiership.
