Laporte would be so perfect for us it still drives me crazy that he backed out of the deal. There's a lot of different players we could look at though.

When I posted this in the CB options thread in the transfer forum on 28 December never did I ever think we'd see him playing for us just a month later. Really glad the lad had a change of heart and thought he looked great last night, albeit he didn't have to defend too much.

Good start, but I reckon someone will be on here saying he is not upto the task before the end of the season......could do with a season on loan at Bristol City or some such nonsense....well hopefully anyway because if you havent been called shite on here you have no chance ask Sterling Sane Silva and so on.
