Indeed I have - the exact same injury 'Eric's had (torn laternal meniscus and damaged cartilage) whilst playing football in my late teens.

The most important thing when you come back is restoring the confidence in your knee, especially in match situations. If he's not playing, especially for at least three weeks, he's injured.
