Mature reply there. Having a quick glance at your posts I'm pretty confident on who has the tinier mind between the two of us.
I havn`t yet decided to have a go at our new manager to be ... hence my more "stabled" opinion of him.I fail to see the need to check my mails as every post would be different, but whatever rocks your boat. You carry on getting wet knickers on how you think our new manager should operate.I`ll leave it to those with better inside knowledge of players and how they`ll help to strengthen our team.

So because I have an *opinion* that our 4 current CB's (Denayer in for MDM) are good enough that we don't need another £40m one (unless we operate 3 at the back as I stated; in which case I'd have a different opinion on the transfer) you took that as me having a go at our new manager?

To clarify; you took offence to a post with no intent to have ago at an incoming manager as there was no attempt to have a go at him, and then claim I'm the one getting wet knickers for questioning your child like response..? You do realise it is in fact you who was getting upset over nothing, not me, surely even you can see that.

I never once suggested how Pep should operate, I merely stated an opinion over transfers - which, in case you didn't know, is pretty much one of the main types of posts you'll be seeing on the "Transfer Forum".

I'll also point out we support the same team, why exactly would your first response to disagreeing with a post be to sling an insult at someone who is on your side? You could simply ignore said post, or reply with a counter-point if you wanted a debate. Maybe my tiny mind just doesn't see how someone such as yourself operates - however it does know how to write like an adult & not like a 7 year old child, but I wouldn't be as petty to point that out to you would I now.*

*OK, looks like I was.

Yawn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes if we go 3 at the back then the transfer makes more sense, or like I said we offload another defender. Personally believe it's Pellegrini's system that makes our CB's look so poor & a change of said system would prove to make a large difference in how good they appear rather than a change of personnel.

Well said

He'll be fit by the time the window opens.
No he won't
Fracture dislocation of ankle = minimum 6-9 months before return to match fitness.
Won't be doing any high impact training for at least 3 months.
Only a lunatic would sign him now. Then again...,.

You are operating on some old information there.

He's out for 3-4 months as reported by hundreds of news agencies last week.

Out for 3 months = beginning of July.

4 months = beginning of August.

He will be fit enough to have a medical during the transfer window.

We'll see mate.
I do this stuff for a living and having seen the injury and if reports are true he had a fracture dislocation there is NO WAY he will pass a medical in three to four months.
Even with a simple fibula fracture it would be pushing it!

I'm sure you know better than his own club.

I'm sure you know better than his own club.
His own club have got a vested interest in selling him at the highest possible price, hence "minimising" the injury profile at this early stage.
The reality is this is a career threatening injury in a footballer and it will take an awful lot longer than 3-4 months to know how well he recovers from it.
Our club are bound to do their homework here given the huge sums involved.

Or they would have an interest in keeping him, and claim that the injury will be a lengthy one to eliminate any chance of bids arriving.

Bilbao are a very difficult club to negotiate with.

At the moment there is no guarantee the lad will make a full recovery or when this will be.
It is a bad injury and if they are making positive noises re an injury recovery I would be even more suspicious given they are tough negotiators.
If the club I advise was trying to sign a player with this injury I would tell them to forget the transfer until there has been a full assessment of the player once he has fully recovered from injury. This will not happen in the next 3-4 months if indeed he has a fracture dislocation of the ankle. Fact.
Scans alone do not tell the story. You need to fully examine and asses the player.
