I've heard we've agreed personal terms with the player, but Begiristain is still negotiating with Bilbao to try and avoid having to pay the full release clause. Looks like a deal for Stones was prohibitive due to the cost.

Bilbao will never accept anything other than the release clause, if they do then Txiki deserves a statue
