Just watched the footage and it looks awful,but it also appears he contributed to his own misfortune by his theatrics.....entirely disappointing to witness.A swift recovery and a lesson learnt hopefully.
 
Being mentioned on a Bilbao Twitter page that it's a high ankle sprain and they're testing his knee as well but no news yet
 
Broken ankle apparently, looks nasty.

Edit: Reports now suggesting its a sprain.

We need to give this a swerve now!!

I agree with @Dax777 that Stones is a much better footballer and personally hope we focus on Full backs, I would be keen to see YaYa drop into a back 3

YaYa may have lost some of his ability as a dynamic box to box midfielder but his distribution is still world class.
The schematic shows his possible distribution options as a Regista for Manchester City in a Pep team with two wide outlets!
