Some people slightly miss the point, I guess some people would not mind eating cats and dogs although human instinct is to generally avoid eating carnivorous mammals, but just like the horse meat scandal if you pay for chicken and get cat that is fraud a bit like the old trick in Italian restaurants passing off pork as veal

This sounds like the sort of story you used to hear in the playground about the local Chinese takeaway. Like they're gonna spend all day rounding up stray cats just to save on the price of a few chickens.

The Chinese on Beswick street near the stadium was closed down for just that years ago. It was all over the MUEN at the time, a big bin was found out back with bits of cats & dog remains inside.

Only last week about half 7 in the morning I saw a huge pile off curry that some had obviously dropped the night before. Eating from the pile was a pigeon, squirrel and rat all in unison.

It's a scene that's got something of the Disney about it.

The pigeon is truly a survivalist with something of the Bear Grylls where his diet is concerned. Take, for example, this picture I snapped one morning of this little fellow tucking heartily into a lager pizza, kebab pavement vomit
