People said the same re: Silva, too small, will get bullied etc. Quality players make leagues adjust to them, they don't need to adjust to the leagues they play in. Hazard is more versatile anyway, more likely to move into different positions in our team than Bale.

If a player is good enough , which I think the majority believe Hazard is, then he'll come over and adjust to the team not the league. In the team he may change his running lines slightly, other players may change passing habits to find him, but Hazard won't think "oh crap, I need to change my game because I'm in England". He'll do what he's good at, and other teams will have to work him out.
 
If only one then it has to be Hazard.

More skill and can play left, centre or right.

Would still take Bale though if we get the chance.
 
Hazard - cos we're both Belgians. :D

And I feel Bale is something of a one-trick-pony.
Kick the ball past opponent, rush behind it, shoot/cross.

Hazard because he will be ours and new to the premier league.Is more versatile then bale,you take bale out of the left wing then he is shit and because he will be cheaper.

You'd think if you really were sad enough to edit a potential target's page to suggest you'd signed him you could at least give him a squad number that isn't that of your "star" player.

Wikipedia is the best chance they have to sign him and they've even cocked that up.
 
We don't need many players here, 1 or 2 and if Tolm is correct we have Hazard in the bag. Getting rid of the deadwood could be City's main concern at the end of the season.

How do you feel about us wanting bale mate? Think levy would let him go or is it another Chelsea/modric scenario?
 
Hazard by fourteen country miles, if for nothing else than Bale not showing me anything to think he can do more than run really really fast down the left wing (and only the left wing) and smash a good cross in, and he's not even consistent at doing that. Sorry but our football has evolved somewhat beyond that tactic.

I agree with this. Aside from the debate over how good he actually is, i just don't see how his style of play fits in with the team's style of play. He's not flexible enough, whereas Hazard can play left, right or centre, suiting the way our front 4 roams freely about the pitch. Bale just doesn't fit into that.
 
Have the people who are saying hazzard actually watched him play apart from you tube. Bale would be the safer option and we could work out a deal to get ade of the books.
 
Bale proven in prem pace to burn good champs league performances. Hazard could be a very expensive mistake. Id prefer Pedro to hazard.
