If/when "it" happens (Mario to Milan), I wont be here rubbing it in your faces. I dont do that cheeky business.

Hopefully I'll be welcome to stay and share thoughts/discussion with you all. The Milan forums are not the place for me, seeing as I have a pretty negative view of our team on most occasions.

Good luck with whatever happens, and Ill be here as long as Im welcome

I'm not sure there will be anything to rub in our faces anyway ? We all know that Mario has the potential but I think that in general we don't believe he will fulfill it with us or in the UK where his reputation unfortunately precedes him. I hope he buckles down for you and doesn't waste the chance he has.

From past experience, if you have thick skin and stay clear of all things Rag related ( Rags are our old past it neighbours, we are the new young noisy neighbours), then you will find the full spectrum of English opinion and banter on this site.

Just keep contributing mate on all topics, it's always good to hear a neutrals point of view on here.

I would recommend you come on after we have had a loss, you will think we have just been relegated

Sky reports Man City have accepted €20m for Balotelli.

So seems Balotelli to Milan is nearly done. Would not rule out a late Man City raid for a forward, Mancini likes to have four main strikers.

What Mancini likes or wants is no longer very relevant. It is what Ferran and Txiki wants which matters and what they decide is what Mancini will have to accept.
I'm sure Mancini would have wanted Mario to remain at the club, giving him at least another year to "become as good as Ronaldo or Messi".

Hope we see the end of this deal today.
I hope that's not the case, for this set-up to work at all, the DoF and the coach have to work together and compromise. He might not get another striker, but the fact he wants one shouldn't be irrelevant.

Good way to ruin a football club.

I don't mean Roberto's opinions will be ignored, but the main priority for our executives will be to balance the finances and build a formidable club, not to please the manager. Obviously Txiki will be interested in hearing what Mancini has to say, but I would not be overly surprised if Mancini were given pretty detailed instructions on how the team should play from next season. It's more common than not in the world of football and something Mancini should be familiar with from his days in Italy.
