True, and i'm sure Mancini does have a lot of experience working in this system, which means he'll have a lot of experience in getting what he wants for the squad.Matt the Giant said:pee dubya said:I hope that's not the case, for this set-up to work at all, the DoF and the coach have to work together and compromise. He might not get another striker, but the fact he wants one shouldn't be irrelevant.Matt the Giant said:What Mancini likes or wants is no longer very relevant. It is what Ferran and Txiki wants which matters and what they decide is what Mancini will have to accept.
I'm sure Mancini would have wanted Mario to remain at the club, giving him at least another year to "become as good as Ronaldo or Messi".
Hope we see the end of this deal today.
I don't mean Roberto's opinions will be ignored, but the main priority for our executives will be to balance the finances and build a formidable club, not to please the manager. Obviously Txiki will be interested in hearing what Mancini has to say, but I would not be overly surprised if Mancini were given pretty detailed instructions on how the team should play from next season. It's more common than not in the world of football and something Mancini should be familiar with from his days in Italy.

They certain get a lot of stick on here for being classless wankers.

Ruin?
I don't think so. Not with a fantastic owner and top people in the executive positions.
Yes ruin. Top people in executive positions wouldn't disregard the opinions of key employees.

people in executive positions will do what is best for the company/club. if someone gets annoyed by it then tough.
