talented player, deadly from the spot kick and had some very big plays for City.

but in the end, I'm almost relieved he's gone.

lazy primadonna

I think this is a very sad day for City, the rug has been pulled from under Mancinis feet, no way did he want to sell Mario, we can only hope the new Spanish head honchos have a good replacement lined up or we may as well send the Premiership Trophy to the Swamp now, gutted!!!
How can it be a sad day? do you not think he will be the first of many?, we have already lost Nige, now Mario and replaced them with very mediocre players, whos next? perhaps Silva when Barca come knocking or Aguero with his marital problems, get in the real world, all our rivals are strenghtening their squads we have stood still since the initial large outlay and all the money seems to be going into the acadamy which will take years to come to fruition.

Talk about over the top.

How can losing a player who's hardly featured be a very sad day? Losing Kompany would be a sad day, losing Zaba would be a sad day. Losing a bit part player who doesn't look out for his best needs let alone his clubs is not a sad day.

For every goal he's scored theres a blight like pushing Kolarov to take free kick instead, attempting to stamp on Parker and nearly breaking Songs leg. I do appreciate his contributions but they aren't anywhere near enough.

I wish him well but this needs perspective. We need more consistency and he needs a fresh start and to be close to his child and family. Hope it works out for everyone but my priorities City and reinvesting the cash for a world class striker like Cavani or Falcao is for the best.

Barca can come knocking with big money then. Silva is wrapped up in a long contract, Sergio too.

Nige was a sub more than a starter and so too Mario. Txiki and Ferran will continue trimming big earners who are starters and we will get big players and promising youngsters. Trimming that fat and keeping the meat my friend. We are positioning for a huge summer imo. Lots of people out of contract saving the club around 350k pw and then we have Marios saved wages and then we have further outgoings. Ideally we use funds to buy wide players and a world class striker to partner Sergio with.

Regarding what you say, I said the same in the summer when happyclappers said we were alright. Funny how tubes are changed. We have no width. No real partnerships upfront and no competition/complimentary partner to Yaya. Our direct rival strengthened yet we stood still, simple as that.

Players to go for are Sanchez, Blasziowski (BVB, not right spelling though) and Cavani. I'd centralise Nasri and I'd also look for a young right sided CB. 3 players in, Kolarov and Maicon out.

I've got flu at the moment - the news about the idiot not wearing our shirt again has cheered me up no end - about the only thing i've got to thank him for............now get a proper footballer in his place.

Hope its nothing serious!

Its a big shame to see him go without fulfilling one of the best natural talents to pull on a blue shirt. But there's only so many times and chances a man can be given to prove himself, and he has shown little sign of becoming what we all would loved for him to become, so it is time for him to leave.
I will be glad in all honesty to see the back of a player who thinks he is so much better than any other player on the pitch that he doesn't need to try, the infuriating dives and petulance.
I will also remember the times he has made us all smile (even if half the stories written are false/exaggerated), the wink, the "why always me" t-shirt, and I will miss his ice cool penalties.

Goodbye Mario, and good luck.

He is soon landing in Milan w Raiola and both his parents.
The car has been dispatched to pick them up.

Contract will be signed within hours and dinner at Giannino will follow. Contract will be deposited to the Lega tomorrow morning.

Expected to play (though I hope he starts) this sunday v Udinese.

Will participate tomorrow in a 'training' match v a low level squad.

Balotelli: "Let's hope that we can make Milan an even greater club in the future - and make me greater as well."

BALOTELLI: "The negotiations between Milan and Manchester City? I already knew that I would come to Milan"

Balotelli: "It was time that I wanted to play for AC Milan, but I was in other teams and I could not come. When there was a chance, I ran"

GALLIANI: "We worked a lot for signing Balotelli, he was in our hearts since a lot of time ago, now we have finally signed him"

ETA

BALOTELLI: "I hope that I can pay back all the support to the fans"

BALOTELLI: "I saw the possibility of joining Milan and I came running. I'll do better with this shirt."

BALOTELLI: "If the Milan fans will make me a song? I just want them to wish me the best and I will be happy"
