Balotelli (ALL IN HERE PLEASE!)

Always disappointed when one of our players leaves the club but he wanted to go and that's more and more of the nature of the game now with fewer players seeing out their contract for numerous reasons.

Hopefully his replacement with add more value to the side as that it has to be that way if we are to compete at the higher level necessary to win trophies each season.

As for the remainder of the window I would be surprised that we would have sanctioned this move without a suitable replacement coming in but we shall see.

Bobby is pulling a "no value in the market" thing. No replacement until the summer, methinks.

Gosh-Darn Tarnation. Even Neverton are strengthening.

That's half of our striker dilemma solved.

Build Guidetti up over the remainder of the season, ship Tevez off in the summer and bring in a Cavani or Falcao.

Definately ship Tevez off. Though I can see him sitting around pocketing the wage and leaving on a free transfer back home

talented player, deadly from the spot kick and had some very big plays for City.

but in the end, I'm almost relieved he's gone.

lazy primadonna

I think this is a very sad day for City, the rug has been pulled from under Mancinis feet, no way did he want to sell Mario, we can only hope the new Spanish head honchos have a good replacement lined up or we may as well send the Premiership Trophy to the Swamp now, gutted!!!

Talk about over the top.

How can losing a player who's hardly featured be a very sad day? Losing Kompany would be a sad day, losing Zaba would be a sad day. Losing a bit part player who doesn't look out for his best needs let alone his clubs is not a sad day.

For every goal he's scored theres a blight like pushing Kolarov to take free kick instead, attempting to stamp on Parker and nearly breaking Songs leg. I do appreciate his contributions but they aren't anywhere near enough.

I wish him well but this needs perspective. We need more consistency and he needs a fresh start and to be close to his child and family. Hope it works out for everyone but my priorities City and reinvesting the cash for a world class striker like Cavani or Falcao is for the best.
