it wasnt intentional

im the first to criticize a player if he does somethign stupid like that and i was critical of mario for the chest high challenge that got him sent off in the eufa cup last year

but this wasnt intentional, he was off balance and trying to find his footing....in that situation the leg action is like that...anyone who plays sport would recognise that when off balance you tend to try and put your foot/feet down quickly.

lescott couldnt do anything about his either.....its just forward motion, he cannt suddenly not have an arm!!!!

Would make complete sense if he put his left foot down. His right foot could accomplish fuck all as far as finding his balance.

Surely with this picture, the thread should end?

Webb seen it, he gave nothing. If arseholes at the f.a will back fuckface foy, when he is totally WRONG, surely they won't go against their no 1?
This picture shows nothing! This pic is after the incident. Webb could easily have been looking somewhere else when the actual incident happened.

Re: Balotelli Stamp V Spurs

Cannot believe anyone can watch that and think it was intentional?

Off balance and being pushed by Modric, yet he had the spatial awareness to know where the head of a player he couldn't see was, while he was rolling underneath him.

Utter shit. Some people are idiots. Simple as that.

He may not have actually seen it.

I have video replay and Webb is watching the ball fly away as the incident happens. He only looks back when Mario starts to stumble. It was a split second but in one frame it looks as if Webb is watching the ball.

That picture is extremely misleading.

logically you're right of course but a similar picture of clattenburg looking directly at the adebayor/van persie incident from about 3 yards away also exists. the fa were only able to take action against ade when clattenburg lied & said he didn't see the incident.

so it all depends if webb is truthful & says in his report that he saw it & decided it warranted no action or if he lies & says he didn't see it but would have red carded mario if he had.

Absolutely mate, if it was intentional he wouldn't have missed his head.

If memory serves me right he was looking to his right and the incident was to his left.
