Balotelli Apology

Thing is Mario is undoubtedly a fantasic footballer, no question. There are lots of footballers out there who are fantastic, but to be a great footballer you have to be totally professional meaning that you (as a professional) are paid to undertake a specialised set of tasks ie winning football matches for the said 'fee'.I don't think that the word 'professional' can be applied to Mario due to the fact that he has not consistently carried out his duties this season. If Mario was in another profession maybe a doctor say, he would have been struck off the list.I wanted Mario to do well, he is an amiable guy who is misunderstood by people due to the tabloid press and tap your phone, email etc sky empire, but I am sorry to say this.He has no future at OUR club because our owners ARE professional and will make a swift decision at the end of the season. It's been a blast Mario, farewell and good hunting.

You call Mario a fantastic footballer, i would love to know your definition of "fantastic". He has scored a few great goals for us in the 2 years he has been with us and is probably the best penalty taker i have (or the premier league) has ever seen, but what sort of player bracket do you put him in? Messi and Ronaldo are in a class of their own, then Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas and probably 50-100 players in europe that are better than him so to call him fantastic has to be earned and i'm afraid this clown will never be in the same league as these fantastic players! Only in Marios's head he thinks he's on par with Ronaldo and a close second to Messi.

Serve him right, he's a dickhead. And in ten years he'll still be a dickhead.

Lmao ! Post of the day.

The trouble with all you haters is your looking for a scapegoat. Balotelli wasn't to bad yesterday in general play, in fact, he was quite good in the first half and was unlucky not to score, if he would have took it on his favoured foot, it was in. The problem is the collapse in the last month, now this cannot be blamed on Balotelli. Look for other players, at one point, i actually forgot Nasri was on the field in the second half and he slows the play to much. Silva's form hasn't helped. Forwards cannot be blamed for yesterday as the service was none existent. To me, it does seem the pressure has got to the players and maybe management and maybe from a higher source. Maybe it has to be put down as a learning curve to not change things, i dunno, but it cannot be rested on Balotelli's shoulders even tho he was petulant.

That's unfair.

Looking at the rules of the FA I dont think thats possible Having been 2 yellow carded then its not possible for the retro charge to be issued also it need to be doen 48hours before the next game ie by 6-00pm (FA Close) this evening However, Ive not got to see the special section that relates only to Mario

Looks to me like the Fail making it up

I'm not in anyway defending the tackle, which was inexcusable, but in that article it says Atkinson 'missed' the tackle.

If I remember though, he did give a free kick. So how can he possibly have missed it? Is this going to be another case of the FA making up the rules as they go along?

Yep agree. Not seen anything fantastic or world class from balotelli. He takes a good penalty but so did Sergio against Chelsea. If you take away balotellis penalty record which is basically
A free shot at goal would be shocking. He doesn't score enough goals, he doesn't beat a man,
He isn't irreplaceable, he doesn't inspire the team when the chips are down.
These are traits of a world class player, not balotelli !!
He is all reputation but unfounded in my view.

and was lucky not to get sent off after 20 minutes which would have left us right in the shit.

However, the FA will deem it blatent.

He deserves it and Mancini deserves it also. He has to take the blame for it too.

Balotelli knew he had already red cards so another one is simply a 3 game ban at least. Even if it from two easy yellows without hard tackles or anything else.

So when he made that last bad tackle he knew it is a 3 game ban. Not counting the ones he can get for that Song tackle.

Went it took the Arsenal player out, got his second yellow and it was a 3 game ban for surely. Even if he kicks the ball after whistle it 3 game ban because this was his 3rd red.

So he didnt know it before? anyone believes it? He earned himself a nice free weeks, will hear about him in the next weeks how he manages pranks/fireworks etc. in Italy while the team is working for their pride in their last 6 matches.
