In truth it should be Mancini apologising....we could all see mario was heading for a red card....all of us knew what mancini apparently didnt.

Im sorry but balo is too young & childish & imature, he brings too many negatives to the party, yes hes the best penalty taker ive ever seen, he has bags of talent but the sunderland game was a watershed moment, blues i know who defended him in the past & lost patience, lads arguing with each other while the game was playing about the merits of our crazy italian, the nonsense with kolarov for the free kick, & yeah he scored 2 but he looked not arsed for 85 mins & that aint good enough, i think balo,kolarov,dzeko,savic,johnson,kolo need shipping out

would you really say it was out of character to do these poor mistimed challenges so often? To me it is blatant but he has the look on his face that he is trying to show the persona of an innocent man, just like the scott parker incident, if that was rooney who accidentally caught parker's head on landing do you really think we would be saying he never intentionally meant to do this, trust me i know the answer of all us blues!

So your saying Balotelli is the scapegoat? And Rooney would not have been sent off for any of those incidents. I thought both yellows were harsh and Sagna made a meal of both. Turn it on it's head and ask your yourself, was Songs challenge on Yaya any worse than the two yellows?

He has scored a few great goals for us in the 2 years he has been with us and is probably the best penalty taker i have (or the premier league) has ever seen, but what sort of player bracket do you put him in? Messi and Ronaldo are in a class of their own, then Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas and probably 50-100 players in europe that are better than him so to call him fantastic has to be earned and i'm afraid this clown will never be in the same league as these fantastic players! Only in Marios's head he thinks he's on par with Ronaldo and a close second to Messi.

The above players you mentioned are great footballers, please read my post again and again if you have trouble understanding it.

I have to agree with the subbing of Mario. I'd have had him at half time as it was nailed on he wouldnt last the 90 mins, in fact I was surprised he lasted as long as he did given the way he conducted himself in the 1st half.
Defending Bob though his disappointment with Mario having shown such faith in him must be destroying him. I dont agree necessairly with how he's done it, but when it omes down to it, hes made Mario one of his main men in the team and he's repeatedly let hom down.
I'm not a Mario hater, but I've reached the end of my patience with him.

I don't believe he has let the manager down. I think Mancini left him on the pitch deliberately hoping he would get sent off. Mancini has lost patience with the boy. What better outcome for Mancini than to watch his prodigy get sent off yet again, so that Balotelli becomes the focus of everyone's anger, and the scapegoat to boot.

How many people are talking about Mancini's management or tactics at the moment? Very few. How many people are blaming Balotelli for losing us the league? Very many. It suits Mancini that someone else is to blame for our failures.

Balotelli therefore has to go. It's the only way Mancini can save face, and possibly his job. Plus, what top professional would want to come to a club where there is this character liable to get sent off and cost his team games, when they want to win trophies. You can see how players have lost patience with him. I think they have had enough of the side-show, and they want to knuckle down and win games and trophies without the added distractions. I'm fed up of it all too, and I suspect the majority of City fans are.

Infact, by his gester of two, he was promised the third freekick, i have no problems with that, nor should you. He's 21 FFS, give him time and he will produce quality. He will have to sought his attitude out, but he's better off with us than without us.
