Sense at last. We have enough on field issues at the moment for this incident to really not be of any real importance.
I really, really hope Balotelli starts tomorrow because he needs time on the pitch. I wouldn't be surprised if Balotelli has started to dislike Mancini because imo Mancini has left Balo out to dry on numerous occasions recently. I think it is too easy for the manager, the fans, the media etc to blame Balotelli for everything that happens but I have said a number of times this season that Balotelli has deserved more than being subbed and/or complained about like at West Ham or against United. It is too easy to label him as lazy or thick, neither of which are close to the truth. Ultimately he has become the scapegoat, not just for the fans but the manager as well. It's easy for Mancini to act like this whilst we have largely under performed this season as it gives him sympathy he doesn't otherwise deserve.
Ultimately though it is what happens on the pitch that counts and, hopefully starting tomorrow, we need to see an improvement in performance from Mario.
Now you know how many times in recent years we've had outright wars on the forum Jay and said some pretty nasty things to each other. But that post is a hammer square on the nail's head. I salue you for it.
What about all the other players that have been left out irrespective of form, because RM wants to see Balo play?? They were 'hung out to dry' too, then, so Balo can stand in line with the other disgruntled players, with his placard in his hand, like everyone else.
There's no 'nail on the head' here.
RM flipped at Balo's temperament towards his fellow player. RM flipped because Balo isn't listening and RM wants him involved on the pitch. RM flipped cos Balo's silly attitude, at the moment, is making it look like Mancini was wrong to support him and others were right all the time.
RM lost the plot for the moment.
That is it.
