Whats last season got to do with this one? How many PL goals this season?

It's got everything to do with this one. He has proven he is capable of scoring in the league, a bad run of form (like most of our forwards) doesn't mean he's turned into a bad player.

People shouldn't make snap judgements over a few games.

Like last season?

Where we won the last 6 games to secure the title that Mario didn't start in or feature much?

Where he set up the goal that clinched the title and scored 13 in 14 starts.

You mean where he was sprawling on his arse yet again and scooped the ball in the general direction of the goal for it to luckily reach Sergio?

If you think that was some sort of World class match winning pass i give up.

-- Fri Dec 14, 2012 10:11 am --

I'm stating a fact, I'm not proffesing to know what his value is. It's not I'm my eyes, it's in managers eyes, they are the ones who determine the list.

And all i said if you read my post properly is he wouldnt command a price of a so called World class footballer.

He will end up getting peddled back to Italy for £15 million-he did his best to fuck his career up at Inter clashing with Mourinho and supporters, its just history repeating itself im afraid.Hes not a Manchester City player,he has performed in less than 10% of games in a blue shirt and its just not good enough.

If managers rate him that highly, why wouldn't he command a high price? I'm not saying he will but common sense tells me he would.

I hope he does command a big price believe me-then we can get rid and sign someone who actually gives a shit about Manchester City.

Tried to type something. Got nothing to say to that.

Just out of curiosity, how many players in our squad do you believe actually give a shit about Manchester City?

You could and you just did, watch his pass again and tell me again what you see?

PMSL, do you actually believe that most of our squad really give a shit about the club? There are a few who do but most of our post-takeover signings are here to win trophies and earn lots of money. I don't have a problem with that, I'm a realist but you are clearly deluded if you believe otherwise.

I know what I saw and have seen over and over again. Its just not worth discussing it with you, sorry.

I think he means about putting a shift in and running your bollocks off.

let me put it a bit differently for you seen as you cant make it out for yourself.

A player that can stay on the pitch for more than 30 minuites and that gives his all for the team cause.

One who doesnt strop with all and sundry when on the pitch or who doesnt get sent off in big games like he did against Arsenal.

He should love playing football for the club, he clearly doesnt give a shit.

-- Fri Dec 14, 2012 10:21 am --

Like he did against Wigan?

Btw he scored the only goal from open play in that one from any of our strikers in our last 6 games, just thought I'd share that.

Before anyone starts, I accept he has to pull his finger out more often.

The same Mario that got sent of against Arsenal and almost cost us the title? The same Mario that stays past his curfew and smokes cigarettes as professional fotballer, the same Mario that stamped on Parkers and got sent of against Liverpool? There´s plenty more of that....he scored 13 goals in the PL last season and I reckon a few are penalties(1 or 2 assists I think)
