I think he means about putting a shift in and running your bollocks off.

Like he did against Wigan?

Btw he scored the only goal from open play in that one from any of our strikers in our last 6 games, just thought I'd share that.

Before anyone starts, I accept he has to pull his finger out more often.

Youve just answered your own question.

I know I did, I pointed out that he did put a shift in and run his bollocks off against Wigan.

What's your point?

If you're going to highlight all the bad and ignore all the good then I accept you'll find any player in the league not good enough for us.

But I didn't realise that Mario stayed out late and smoked cigarettes, fuck me he must be the first footballer in the world to do that.

He's also the only striker whose penalties never count, apparently.

And for all the penalties hes scored hes never the one to actually get tackled in the box to earn it.

I think you need to check that out on the highlights pages on the OS.

My point is that it takes more than performing against a premiership whipping boy to convince me any differently that hes worth all the hassle.

Theres 2 matches in over 2 years
And even they are debatable

give me some examples of all the good then?

You will be scratching your head once youve got the 1-6 game out of the way.

Everton at home last season, came on and scored to set us on our way to victory.

Sunderland at home, scored to get us back into the game after a shit team performance.

Spurs, won and scored the penalty that won us 3 points.

There's some.

Am saying when he has come on and you have gone WOW
Its limited

For me the hype does not justify the performances and that is the issue here. When Mario plays, 9 times out of 10 he flatters to decieve and ends up becoming a frustration.

He has been built up as this amazing player and has not gone about displaying it. I don't care how old he is either, so for some people to say he is still young is a cop out.

It has been shown before and was again on Sunday, When he was taken off and Tezev came on, the whole squad raised their performance. The other players knew what Tevez was going to bring onto the pitch and we actually started running at the rags defence.

This is not a coincidence, this is obviously the way that the players must be feeling as well.

Yaya came out the other day to say that he is a quality player, but he must be showing this only in training, but is not bringing it on to the actual field of play when it is needed most.

Sorry, I don't understand your post, are you looking for examples of when he has done good when he came on?

What does I have gone WOW mean?

What's limited? You asked for some examples, I have given some.

It's got everything to do with this one. He has proven he is capable of scoring in the league, a bad run of form (like most of our forwards) doesn't mean he's turned into a bad player.

People shouldn't make snap judgements over a few games.

Where he set up the goal that clinched the title and scored 13 in 14 starts.
The same Mario that got sent of against Arsenal and almost cost us the title? The same Mario that stays past his curfew and smoke cigarettes as professional fotballer, the same Mario that stamped on Parkers and got sent of against Liverpool? There´s plenty more of that....he scored 13 goals in the PL last season and I reckon a few are penalties(1 or 2 assists I think)

How did Mario getting sent off in the last minute at Arsenal almost cost us the title?

Some of these comments are ridiculous. Fair enough criticise, expect more from him but stop coming out with these ridiculous assertions.
Well our chance to equalise was far less with Mario of the pitch and it wasen´t the first he let his manager and teammates down. It´s always one step forward to steps back with Mario, he was decent against Swansea and Wigan, horrible in his cameo vs Dortmund, poor against United and then he walks the tunnel in our biggest games while we are down 2-0 at home, that´s Mario for you always thinking about himself.
