Genuine question and not aimed at antagonising:
If Balotelli played for United and his performances/misdemeanours and off the field stuff had happened exactly the same as it has with us, what would your opinions of him be? I suspect many would take the piss out of him and them. Am I wrong?

I would take the piss but have a feeling eating away at me that it's going to bite me on the arse. I would hate them to have him.

With Phil Jones I don't have that problem.

How many of us took the piss out of Tranny in her first two or three years?

Struggling to think of any off the field stuff that I would really give a shit about if he played for them.

Tranny is the ultimate professional, Balotelli could't spell the word.

Besides the point really. If having the piss taken out of you by an opposition supporter is an indication of whether you are a good player or not we nay as well have gotten rid of most of ours before they played a game.

As it is even the "ultimate professional" wasnt the huge success straight away that we're demanding our own players be.

Despite being the longest thread on view outside the Legend that is Edin by some number I am still to read a single post that constructively argues well for why we should get rid of Mario.

He's not very good.

Personally I think the best reasoning is that no manager in the world except Mancini feels the need to have four strikers of such a high profile and high wages. Better sides than ours make do with just one or two top class strikers and a decent supporting cast. We have four "top class" (though I don't think two of them really are but the general perception is that they are) strikers and it seems more troublesome than beneficial at times as he constantly swaps them around to keep them all happy, never allowing for any combination to form any long-term partnership. You have Aguero and Tevez with their 100% win record when starting yet Newcastle was their first start together in about a month. I feel the resources put into an unnecessary luxury (4 strikers earning £120,000/week+++ each) to be put into other roles that really need it more. I'd rather we had paid someone like Eden Hazard those wages than a fourth striker playing a periphery role with 1 league goal this season as it'd be of greater benefit to our squad (in my opinion).

maybe mancini would had been happy with less than 4 top class strikers given all the rumors of city trying to sell tevez both in 2011 and 2012 market windows , and dzeko in 2012 market windows.

Really?

Hes no Messi nor Ronaldo and I know you prefer RVP and Rooney to be in the blue right now but to say he isn't very good flies in the face of the evidence.
