Balotelli (continued)

MSP said:
He lets the club down any time he plays and thinks whole event on that day is about him and not the team in whole. It's most of the times. He is the center of his Universe and there is nothing down, up, left or right.

He may have all talent of the World but as long as he thinks and acts on that way, he'll be nothing more than averagely good player. One whos overall contribution could be met by loads of low profile, less payed, no-baggage players.

30 goals for the club, and some great performances in key matches in our recent history. Wouldn't classify that as letting us down any time he plays.

I'm not even fully convinced about Balotelli but to say he's done nothing for the club is ridiculous. The assist for Aguero, cup final and 6-1 all instrumental. Even if he left tomorrow he'd have added more than he's taken.

I think the good does outweigh the bad, the only question for me is is that in itself enough, for what he cost, what he's paid and the leniency he receives? The jury is out.

His flaws are exaggerated but his talent and potential are overplayed. The less fuss was made about him the better he'd be possibly.

You're free to classify it as you want. I'm free to think the likes of Holt, Graham, Defoe, Bent... would meet that without problems playing at City for 2.5 years without any baggage that comes with him.

You're wasting your time mate, he's a Dzeko fan boy who won't see anything but the negatives about Balotelli.

Truth is he's had a couple of great games, some indifferent and a couple of shockers, thats it, nothing more, nothing less.

I hoped he can turn it around into regularly playing great but tbh it doesn't look like it will be with us, which is a shame and i hope it doesn't bite us on the arse in some future champions league game.

If he could find the same level of commitment and skill as he did last weekend in his 15 minute cameo (which was more then Dzeko did all game) consistantly, we'd all be happy and not having the disagreements we are now.

You most certainly are free to think that.

-- Fri Jan 11, 2013 4:26 pm --

Ah, didn't realise that. Never really got people supporting one player by criticising another. I guess it takes all types. ;)

Is he definitely? If so I've been giving him more time of day than he warrants.

I'm not Dzeko fan boy, I'm fortunately too old to put my head in anyone's arse and even if I am what does that has with my views about Balotelli?

He's not really some big competition to Dzeko currently and I'd replace him today with Falcao for ex. who'd certainly be.

I'm just sick of Balotelli and his self-loving character as well as of people who think he is some fucking world beater while he scores 1 goal from 34 shots this season. Wate of money and space, so good that there's more talk about his haircut and Bentley than his football performances

What is your story MSP? When did you become a City fan, when was your first game, where are you from etc?

That's not your business and question I answer when having a chat with someone, not when I "have to" prove something to noone.

This is what i mean, when has Defoe had all the headlines about his hair but he's dyed it blonde dozens of times.

Balo doesn't say anything about his hair or car it's people like you who won't stop bleating about it.

Last time i checked the haircut or car driven had nothing to do with how well or poorly somebody played.
