Balotelli (continued)

Moomba, a poster asked for examples of when he's let the club down.

Not how he was unable to perform or damage our chance of success.

There's a difference, how are you misinterpreting that?

Because I don't think the club has been let down by someone doing a backheel in a pre-season friendly or having a fight at the training ground.

If he did something that damages our chances of success (like the WBA red card for example) that is an example of when he has let the club down. And I agreed that was the case.

Seeing as you completely ignored my post on the previous page and are now simply focusing on one comment; training ground 'handbags'. When I'm talking about everything.

He has let the club down through being unprofessional.

Not by 'damaging our chances of success'.

I can't understand your failure to comprehend my point, and your need to manipulate and ignore it.

I haven't ignored your point, I've addressed every one of them that I disagree with.

Training ground - don't care, don't think he has let the club down over it.
Backheel - don't care, don't think he has let the club down over it.
Liverpool red card - harsh, don't think he has let the club down over it.

The rest of it I haven't disagreed with you.
Except I didn't mention the Liverpool one.

I mentioned Kiev and West Brom.

You brought it up simply to grant him another pass.

-- Jan 11th, '13, 13:52 --

Are both instances unprofessional?

A simple yes or no will suffice

Apologies, that was Tolmies list.

When did I say you were wrong about Kiev and West Brom?

I didn't say you did, I'm stating that those were my examples and not Liverpool

Re-watch the video again, there's a whistle before he back heels it. Really nothing in it.

I didn't mind that he took exception to Kolarov's insistence on taking the free kick against Sunderland last year. Kolarov had his chances already, and from the angle of the free kick, it would've suited a right footed player better. At the time i was thinking that Balotelli should've taken it instead.

Conflicts between teammates are to be expected at times.
There was no whistle? A goal kick was given?

And a discussion with a teammate is fine. Having to be pulled back by 2 teammates isn't a discussion, its unprofessional

It's not about 'damaging our chances of success' it was about being unprofessional and letting the club down.

There's a difference you fail to recognise.

As i've said, watch it again. A whistle can be heard from the crowd and Balotelli stops because he thinks its an offside. Pretty simple.

I've just watched the free kick incident again and i've got to say that Balotelli seems to react only after Kolarov picks the ball up childishly and backs off with it. He shouldn't have dragged it on though and as you've said, it was unprofessional of him to do so.

Wasn't me either, pal!

I was asked for on the field stuff. Not mentioned anything re fights or the backheel.

I did state Mancini's comments about his attitude to training and the fines after curfews but again, that's where I do believe he has also let us down.

The Liverpool red card was the one I disagreed with from your list.

He lets the club down any time he plays and thinks whole event on that day is about him and not the team in whole. It's most of the times. He is the center of his Universe and there is nothing down, up, left or right.

He may have all talent of the World but as long as he thinks and acts on that way, he'll be nothing more than averagely good player. One whos overall contribution could be met by loads of low profile, less payed, no-baggage players.
