Balotelli (continued)

“Balotelli is not a bad apple. He is a cherry,” replied agent Raiola on Sky Sport Italia.

“I think that in this case the President made a huge mistake, it was a real gaffe. As for Balotelli’s chances of returning to Italy right now, I’d give it at 0.0001 per cent. Napoli? There is absolutely nothing in this story.”

The way he is acting at this time it is more like a Plum.

Well imo he stank the place out in that run of games that culminated in Arsenal away, and he has done very little this season when called upon especially for a player who has supposed world class potential. All the potential in the world means nothing if it continues to go unfulfilled and imo the concern is, why is it going unfulfilled and how can that be addressed. That is why the last 12 months is such a worry, there are clearly problems that have led to his stagnation and it won't sort itself out by magic.

He did score 6 goals in the ten games leading up to Arsenal (although I thought he was rubbish for about 90 minutes of the Sunderland game and he got two of them then).

I'm not saying I'm not bothered by the fact he hasn't really put it together yet, but I don't see it the same as say Torres where there is a decline that you can't ever see being turned around. With Mario he will put it together sometime so while he's still on the books you just have to hope it's sooner rather than later)

He has the rest of the season to prove me and other wrong. If he increases our chances in the league I will give credit where it is due. If not then I don't see a point him being here come next season.
Can't say fairer than that. All the knockers (or almost all I hope) would still love to see him make a real difference. If that happens we will jizz on his Bentley then wash it clean with our kisses. If he doesn't seriously turn it round during the rest of the season his time will be up and he can clear off somewhere else.

I won't go that far :).

To say he's never played two good games in a row is wrong imo.

He came on against Everton last season and opened the scoring. He then went on to have good performances against Blackburn and Villa in the league, and then of course the 6-1.

He actually maintained pretty good form for a couple of months until that ridiculous red card against Liverpool.

This does not excuse his form thereafter, I just feel it's unfair to suggest that he's never played two good games in a row.

Yes, you're right, as long as he is on the books I hope he turns things round. He worries me though. It worries me that imo every time he is picked it is a gamble and we have a manager who likes to throw him into the biggest matches. He's a gamble in a way that Tevez and/or Aguero just aren't. It's only my opinion of course but to me it just looks like things have become a bit unhealthy and I wonder whether for his career and for the good of City too, he probably needs to move away from the club, from his team mates and most of all from Mancini. I actually find him quite endearing and I'd love him to succeed but I'll be honest, I'm no longer expecting to happen at City.

Every newspaper is reporting tonight that Balotelli to Milan is on, although could depend on them flogging Robinho.

Looks like that 'mole' at City has been leaking info again as the details are exact from every journo.

They are all reporting Mancini has asked the club to sanction a move for a defender too.

Berlusconi hasn't exactly rolled out the welcoming mat to Mario. See how these next 21 days pan out.

They could all just get together and decide on the story. That way people believe it. If they all had different stories, no one would believe any of them.
