If I recall correctly Balo has done Friedel a few times. And if you watch closely Friedel tries to kid Balo by going the direction he usually puts it in. Leaving a gaping hole to his right, Balo readjusts and places it there. Genius.
Not really sure how anyone can doubt his technique now. "Were you nervous knowing the pressure on you to score that penalty" .... "No.."
You give yourself a huge advantage if you're not choosing where you're putting it during the run up like most. Every penalty should hence forth be taken by Balotelli, all the time, everywhere, ever. I don't even care if he's not in the country, get him on the pitch.

The man is ice cold taking penalties... but it didn't stop me from being as nervous as I think I've ever been, waiting for him to take it!!
