Balotelli to Liverpool (merged)

Re: Will We Still Love Mario Now He Is A Dipper?

I see most of the press has been very positive about the signing... No agenda what so ever...

Will be interesting to see if the press treat him better than when he was with us - I suspect so

Mario won't be turning up at Anfield without them paying him serious wages, he'll want at least 8 million a year I guess, it's going to take a lot of negotiating to get this deal done. If he does sign I figure he'll expect to be the main man, if Rodgers starts him on the bench he'll just switch off and then you've 'lost' him. He's unplayable on his day, but then so is Adebayor, and you wouldn't want him back.
He must know what wages LFC are offering. Can't see there being a way back when AC Milan are trying to offload him to everyone. They want him out. He's already said his goodbyes.

I'm sure I read somewhere they offered him 90k a week....might be wrong.

I heard £180k somewhere but I'm sure both figures are total bollox. Why would either party release details like that at this stage of a negotiation?

You know it. All those plastic cockney Liverpool fan journos are having to go back on their words this weekend...

Goodbye Liverpool FC......

.....Hello Balotelli FC. He did City as much harm as he did good and can't see him being any different at Anfield. He is 23 years of age and this will be his 4th club, all major ones. Rogers must be desperate for from now on it will be all about Belotelli and not LFC!!!!

We're not a major club and Liverpool are a special club. There's your difference.

And the Ref's or the media will not be as hard on him as a consequence.

Very special

Re: Goodbye Liverpool FC......

He's 24, so not a kid anymore by any means.

I was a fan of all the theatre that went with him and I really rate him as a player, I didn't want him at another English club.

Can someone who follows Italian football give some idea as to why AC Milan want rid? I thought this was his dream move to his boyhood club?

Mind you, they are probably photoshopping a YNWA tattoo onto him in merseyside at this very moment.
