Balotelli - What was he thinking?

INCIDENT RECAP: NON EVENT.
-Mario thought he was offside and kicked the ball away
-Mancini saw it the wrong way and instantly subbed Mario to which Mario was rightly upset about because he did not do anything wrong.

If anything Mancinis blow up was worse in over exxagerating the situation. However, the fallout from this is enormous. Just the kind of story the media loves to run with. and oh boy the shit talk from other teams is laughable.

Its this lack of emotion from Balo thats caught everyone out. If he only gave some kind of impression that he thought it was offside before Mancini reacted.

IF he thought he was offside then fair enough, but its a big if. Only last week he said we will see a different Mario this season and his aim is to score a lot more goals. Friendly or not, believing he was off side or not he should've slotted the ball home instead of fucking about. All in all though Mancini over reacted way too much. Do you know what instantly sprung to mind? The Pires-Henry pen v us. Wenger didn't haul them off and that was as disrespectful as it gets in the game, and it was a competitive fixture too. Mancini should have bollocked him in private because all that's happened now is the press get a free target on a guy who never fails to provide them with ammo, and Mancini could have prevented that.
