As expected, Mino Raiola in no hurry to find a Mario Balotelli. The agent expects the auction to get warm and arrive at his desk offers significant economic, thereby also giocodell'Inter that it expects to earn at least 35 million on the sale of the attacker. Reached by tmw, Raiola has been postponed for a few days any news on the future of Mario: "As he is concerned there is nothing new and there will be today or during the week," said the agent. Its aim is to wrest from Manchester City or Chelsea, a contract for at least 4.5 million per season and calm is the ideal weapon to fry good candidates for the tag SuperMario.

taken tutterweb or wwhatever its called.looks like well have to wait and see.no news this week supposedly, honestly wish transfers could be done like football manager!!
Yeah I took that as no news this week too. Looks like its between us and Chelsea, and with Anelka and Drogba approaching the twilight years, they could move for him I guess.....

But they have the all conquering Sturridge to carry the attack for years

His agent wants a £4.5m a year contract?

That's about £90,000 a week... aren't we paying Roque Santa Cruz that amount?

Get the deal done City!
Yep, and as much as I was a Hughes defender, only he can be held responsible for that. I can quite honestly say RSC is the worst signing in my nigh on 25 years supporting this club, and I include Shutt, Bradbury, the Georgians, (except Kinky of course), and all the other manner of shite we've bought down the years in that too.

Carl was only on loan tho!

Maybe the club are waiting to announce new signings to coincide with the launch of the new away kit.

Can see Thursday evening Mario and Koralov both revealed wearing the new shirt and the message saying get your new away shirt (Balotteli + number) etc at the club store tomorrow.

Yeah, that makes sense.

Spend getting on for £50m on transfers and hold back on the deal in the hope of flogging another couple of thousand shirts...
I think this idea that we'd hold back deals for Balotelli and Kolarov so that they coincide with the kit release is just pure fantasy. We already have far more marketable players at the club. A marketing campaign would be far more successful with players such as Ade, Yaya, Silva and Tevez modelling the kit, imo. People are just making up reasons why Kolarov and Balotelli haven't been signed yet.

I remember the headlines when we were about to sign him..."Get Shutt!"

I also remember the headlines after he'd played a couple of games..."Get Shutt!!!"

Agree .. the time we are taking on these deals is to me simply because deals at this level take a long time .. take Mario for instance we are reportedly Haggling over his contract length ie. he wants 5 years we only want 4 .. think about it thats 4 mil difference to one party .. not matter how wealthy you are 4 mil is a lot of money for either party to be liberal on, plus 4/5 years is a long time to promise someone 4 mil a year for .. he may develop niggling injuries .. Mancini may leave before then and another manager not be able to handle him ..there are loads of variables .. also lets not forget the lad is 19 and he is being asked to move hundreds of miles abroad to a place he has never been on the strength of him knowing 1 bloke (bobby) .. not surprised these things take a while .. all in all though i see him on blue in the end

That was what, 12 years ago (ish)? Its quite staggering how far we've come in terms of transfers/coaching staff etc. I was thinking about our coaching staff now and even though I despise egg head, Mancini knows what he's doing. Add Lombardo and the staff already here, it has the feel of a real professional outfit to it.

The marketing men know that it gives the place an extra buzz when a player is signed and it increases demand for merchandise with said players name.

Not saying that this will be the case but it's a case which is viable IMO.

Agree the lad as got to thing long about this deal but like he has stated he see's Mancini as a fateher figure who he holds highly and I can see this being the final pull towards us.

His agent has said no deal will be done this week so this thread is a lame duck till then!

What does the agent know? He's probably just a WUM...
