There's a large "African" contingent building at the club.

Adebayor - Togo
Toure - Cote d'Ivorie
Toure - Cote d'Ivorie
Vieira - Senegal
Boateng - Ghanaian roots
Kompany - Congolese roots
Balotelli - Ghanaian roots
Nimely - Liberia
Boyata - Congolese roots

So yeah you have a point despite some ignorant posters jumping on your back.
Forgot Etuhu and Onouaha!

Haha.. I come back to a bunch of idiotic responses. Jeez.

In the article, Adebayor made a point about Balo being African and thus is looking forward to meeting him. I was merely commenting on how we actually now have a sizeable number of "Africans" (I know some choose to play elsewhere, hence the inverted commas).

No need to explain yourself fella. PC brigade jumping the gun as usual!

Not sure about your "jeez" comment, but i believe we are all of African descent, but if some of these players consider themselves,German, etc, don,t see a problem.

Can i just ask.. does balo have blistering pace?

can only comment from the you tube clips mate but he looks fairly speedy, especially for a big fella !

Yes thats what i thought from seeing the clips but tbh it's difficult to tell from youtube. I like strikers who have bags of pace.

You're right mate and somebody else pointed out Ibrahim. I'm on my phone so can't be arsed checking anything else but didn't we have a Moroccan lad in the Academy? I may have dreamt this, mind.

Yep. When combined with his power he is pretty much untouchable if he manages to get into his stride

Uh, Yes. If he want it, he's very very very speed.
It's a complete player.

How close to Ronaldo do you think he is? Potentially better?

It's my opinion, but I really believe Balo has all the attributes needed to be the best player in the world, and very soon...
