Since 2007

Balotelli 20 goals in 59 games (for the CL winners/best side in Italy)

Corradi 15 goals in 69 games (for Parma/Reggina).

Hmm.

He's 19 and has 10+ years in him.

If we pay £25 million he could do a job for years and years and would be worth every penny. If he leaves we'll get a few years out of him and recoup what we spent. How can anyone have a problem with that?

Ofc he may not be coming, but if he does he could be a great purchase.

City do not have a good history of recouping what they spent, do they.

Considering his age his goal scoring record is very impressive. But Seria A is a pub league these days. Most forwards that comes from their to the prem fail very very badly. THose with much bigger names as well, Sheva, Crespo etc. Hardly any of them have done the business in this country.

Still Mancini wants him. He knows him and brought him through so I will but my trust with him on this one. Hes certainly a better option that £17 million for RSC who was injured for 70% of his career.

Is till dont know where we will play him tbh.

Times change. We used to be shit, remember? :)

I think its a massive risk signing Italians....they dont have a track record of settling very well, not only in the Prem, but in the UK in general.

Obviously there are the obvious exceptions (Zola, Di Canio, Vialli, Rav, Di Matteo and to a lesser extent Festa.)

Of each of these, there is a Corradi, Bianchi, Aqualani, Andre Silenzi, Ivano Bonnetti, Andrea Dossena, Michelle Padavano, Massimo Taibi etc.

There have been other established Italians, who in my limited nouse didnt really do a great job (Pannuci, Gattuso (Rangers), our very own, Lombardo, Materazzi, Montella, Dino Baggio (I recall), Nicola Ventola

Anyway you get my drift (Please can we refrain from reeling off 100's of others who played here....)

I'd prefer us to buy someone who is a little more mature than this young man appears to be right now.....

A 19 year old who plays wide right and left as well as up front with a 1 goal in 3 games record. WTF is your point?
