My post was in reply to someone saying "so we just wait and it will happen" or words to that effect. I thought he had meant our inevitable rise to the top, but on re-reading the thread, I think he just meant the Balo signing.

Boateng would be useful if Crouch is playing, but i'm not sure he'll get chucked in straight away, maybe unless he plays 90 today.

Started tonight with Richards RB and Boateng CB, but swapped. Boateng's cross made first goal - though Richards did look alright going forward tonight, the game was far from fully competitive. On tonight I think Boateng looked the better RB.

From the press con yesterday it seems Balotelli is still odds on to go through . On basis Bellamy is going (not on sheet tonight) then after Tevez and Ade we are struggling.
