It looks like the transfer saga concerning Mario Balotelli is about to come to an end. Corriere dello Sport reports that Mario Balotelli is now extremely close to joining MCFC in a deal believed to be around the €28million mark plus bonuses:

Mancio, what is this "option for a possible return to Italy" all about? Why would Inter want some sort of a clause wherby he can return to Italy, potentially to one to their rivals? Or is it a clause stating that Inter can buy him back for an agreed price after an agreed date in the fututre? Has this ITK expanded on it at all?
