Balotelli

He's a world class striker who could be the difference in some games between 1 point or 3 but yeah your right he had an off 45 minutes so he should be lined up and shot

He is not a world class striker.

Mancini got it right again, hooking Mario was the right thing to do, Mario seems to be strruggling a bit lately, hopefully he can bounce back quickly we need him for the big games where usually he steps up.

Mancini, in being right to sub him, was wrong to start with him based on recent form.

Oh and, was last night not a big game. Since Mario's supposedly a big game player ...

only other choice was to start with edin(not played full 90 lately) or tevez(wasnt match fit)...so i disagree with you..i thought mancini done well ..richards in centre half was the main call he got correct to start with.

He was poor tonight and deserved to go off. He shouldn't play in any away game or against rags at home. Too risky.

I fucking despair with this board at times. You mean like the semi final and the 6-1 where he was motm for both? Definitely shouldn't play against United....

He wasn't at his best last night and fair play to Mancini for making a brave sub. But idiots that make, and back up, these posts are just asking to be made to look stupid. Mario is having a very good season and still has a major role to play between now and the end of May.

Could you imagine the euphoria at OT if it was announced that Mario wasn't going toplay any part in the game? Aleways do what your opponents wouldn't like you to do. Trust Mancini to get the best out of him.

Alan Hansen generally talks a load of shite but he's bang on when it comes to Balotelli. I'm praying Bobby has now seen the light and limits him to a few cameos when the game's already won.

the usual suspect are back. do you ever say anything fucking positive.

...and the usual fanbois are sticking up for Balotelli again when the world and his wife know he's a liability at the moment.

Would you start him against Stoke on Saturday?

Considering the opponents and considering his form probably not. But that's completely different to saying he won't play against United or in another away game. It is treating every game on its merit and so for me I would start Dzeko. It's not often I say that because I don't think the Aguero-Dzeko partnership has worked yet.

-- Thu Mar 22, 2012 5:21 pm --

No problem at all with him starting and it was the correct decision to take him off. Not really sure what you are getting at here, but I can guess. Seems like Billy Shears has done yet another 360.

Eh? Your sad little attempts at sniping are becoming highly tedious Jay. What I'm getting at is what youve just said. He's not in form, ergo he shouldn't start. Not rocket science really. He was so poor against Lisbon and Swansea he shouldn't have started last night. Again not rocket science. By replacing him at half time because in Mancini's own words he didn't like Balo's performance, he was acknowledging he shouldn't have started him. Once again not rocket science.

Balo is still in my opinion going to be one of best forwards of generation and we're lucky to have him. About face? About time you learned how to read properly and while we're at it, also about time you stopped calling people out as idiots, then making their point for them!

Don't tell me to read properly when you are writing utter rubbish! Does Mancini now go by the name of Mystic Meg? Balotelli was brilliant when he came on in Lisbon but then had a couple of quiet games against Lisbon and Swansea...it's hardly the longest run of bad form in the history of the game. I would have started him last night because he's in our best 11. He had a poor(ish performance, really wasn't THAT bad) in the first half so he got brought off. It is utterly ridiculous to suggest that means Mancini has admitted to making a mistake in starting him, it just means he wasn't playing well so he took him off. You're reading far too much into it because you want to.

Anyway fuck this, we won a game of football that could prove to be huge. I'm cock-a-hoop!!
