And why would it be different watching him on TV as opposed to live? Do all the opponents become slower when live compared to a TV broadcast? Or does Mario time his extreme quick bursts when he knows he's off-camera so they don't show on TV?
Walcott is an example of a really quick player, so is Clichy. Mario rarely outruns any defender come to think of it. Unless he does so only live when nobody is watching. :)

According that that article, if Mario is to be considered extremely quick so is G. Cahill, Bob Zamora, Matt Etherington to name a few.
No way in hell Mario is faster than Clichy. I don't think there are many players faster than Gael at all.

How does that article have a date of today and claim to be a survey of premier league players undertaken over the last few weeks, yet include Bolton, Birmingham, Blackburn, Blackpool and Wolves and no Reading, Southampton or QPR ?
