Balotelli

Just putting it on here... Sky italia are reporting that Mino Raiola and Vittorio Rigo (agent and lawyer) have arrived in england and are going to be discussing a possible transfer for mario tomorrow. €20million is on the table from Milan and City may be forced to accept this so that they have time to negotiate a deal for another striker before thursday's deadline. Rumblings that KPB could be involved in a swap deal, but I wouldn't think that it was likely. I don't have a direct source to copy and paste but it's on the sky italia web-page and. A top Milan pundit has tweeted "and the rotten apple is close to Milan" in the past hour. Take it as you will, but I know that my money would be on Ballo being in a red and black shirt come February 1st. - Joe

Are we planning any incoming signings danamy ?

Not heard anything I'm afraid
The contagious virus you mentioned, is it Nasri, Dzeko or Kola?

There's nothing in what I said NH, read the last few pages again and it should make sense?

It's certainly interesting to see how some peoples minds work when reading a post :-/

No-one mate.
Good!

Cheers btw. I had read Kola was lined up too. Dzeko to Inter in simmer and also a rumour Padtore wants to leave PSG and they'll go for Nasri?

Hate football sometimes, watching football is great but the drama and speculation off the pitch is just as gripping.

It's the negative which is bred into us blues. We are that used to bad news that you always expect it around the corner. I read your post about Kola before and your post got me wondering. Dzeko is defo not himself either. I wondered if it was one of them. Anyway, no probs.

Remember Mario can be ar the level of Messi and Ronaldo (apparently), ones scored 4 and still playing and other scores 3. Can't wait to put this all behind us and glare at AC to see how it pans out.

It's fear mate.

Think about it, we lost De Jong and Johnson and bought in two young lads in Rodwell and Sinclair. Ones constantly injured and the other may as well be for how much use we get out of him. It's shit like that, that gets you going. Then you factor in that we are out of CL and CC and some players haven't played anywhere near enough which is a worry. Dzekos comments following the match the other day "I was happy to play, in training it was Carlos and Sergio so it was a nice surprise." (Paraphrase).

Anyway enough from me. Will follow thread in hope of bigger bid or KPB + cash.

Before I go, is anybody else hoping the 'rotten apple' gets hold of Barbara Berlusconi? That'd piss the father right off ;)

I totally disagree with those who think we can do without a replacement if Balotelli leaves, it'd be madness IMO.

Tevez - started with 4 goals in 4 games (all competitions), since then it's 5 in 25 appearances, despite all the effort he puts in that's just not good enough.

Dzeko - Great strike rate off the bench but prone to inconsistency when he starts, he's on a decent run at the mo and I hope he keeps it up but it is a worry whether we can rely on him.

Aguero - Has been a bit prone to injury this season and not yet reached anything like last season's form.

Guidetti - Completely untried at this level. Would you really want him starting a lot of games if we had an injury crisis in the run-in to a possible league and cup double?

I wouldn't think its so black and white.

Come the summer, one or two worth waiting for may be available, and many of ours will also leave.

I think the league title will decide Bobbys future and, also, i think the last window has taught us plenty about 'panic buys'.

Wasn't having a go at you mate, I was also relating it to my post about Nasri. Just saying we are all a tad bored with the window and happy to try and read something into a throw-away comment.

Clarkie?

He's at Bayern this coming season.

If we are going to sign anyone its one of Cavani, Jovetic or Falcao and in that order imo (likelihood).

;)

Let's hope its done tomorrow with enough time to get some action. Unlike the masses on here id rather a wide player come in for our left side, Isco is ideal, get him and use new TV cash for Cavani. We have to get a wide player in, before a 4th striker anyway.
