Balotelli's agent.

This incident should only be considered in real time, to pass any conclusion. Mario would never have time to consider this so called stamp, in such a fraction of a second. If you see a film of two cars colliding in slow motion your thoughts immediately are 'WHY DIDN'T HE PUT THE BRAKES ON' In real time you then realize ..... no time to. Why would a guy who sponsors a school to be built in Sudan for orphans, wish to stamp on a fellow footballers face?

On the evidence of endless slow motion replays no one can tell whether it's deliberate. Not a mark on Parker, no appeals or complaints from any of the Spurs players, Mario goes to check Parker is ok. In a court of law not a chance of a conviction so earlier today I was advocating an appeal on the basis that it might succeed because with the dodgy evidence there was no way the FA would increase the ban. Foolishly I forgot it's not about the evidence now that Webb the Rag has ruled on it. I really don't buy the view held on here by some that it was deliberate - you just can't tell. In fact based solely on the evidence Lescott's elbow is far more deserving of a charge and Crouch's actions which could have blinded Ollson are the worst of the lot.

What really gets me is those on here who don't give our player the benefit of the doubt. You expect it of the man who opens a bank account in his dog's name, of Souness one of the dirtiest bastards to ever play football and of the Press who are there to sell papers - nothing else. But I don't expect it from the likes of Paul Simpson whose comments on TV were a disgrace.

The trouble with the arguement that starts from a preposition that we should all defend 'our' player in the face of the obvious errant behaviour - is that he fails to learn from it. He needs to know that this behaviour isnt good for our team and provides all our critics with all the ammo they need to stir up the hatred.
Interestingly, no one has mentioned Nasri obviously lecturing Balo immediately after the incident..................................

Well there's no trouble with it if you don't believe his behaviour was obviously errant (I don't). Nor did I notice any "obvious" lecture. The whole point is that there is nothing whatsoever obvious about the whole incident (but I accept others may think differently but they're wrong!)

And you obviously know what he was talking about. Lip reader? Care to dictate for us?

Fair to say, he's not best pleased. As you may have seen on some sites, he's done an interview with the Italian press and said the following:

“I can’t talk about Redknapp, I don’t want to get angry. It’s not normal what they do in England, where there’s a referee who’s a coward. He’s a coward because he saw what happened from a close range and then he says he didn’t see anything after receiving pressure from the press and Redknapp. He’s a coward. If he saw what happened, there would no TV evidence. Mario didn’t do it on purpose, I can guarantee it 100%. I am really angry with the FA. This ref should be sent to an optician as he can’t see from 1-metre distance. This is not good. If the FA doesn’t protect Mario, perhaps it’s time to change route and leave England. It’s a moralism I don’t like”

02:31-03:08

“He may come back to Italy. At the moment there are not talks in place because our plan was to stay in England, but we don’t like this. The guy is quite annoyed because he’s been unfairly attacked and he’s going to miss 4 more games. You can see no Tottenham player complains because they saw he didn’t do it on purpose. Redknapp is angry because Mario didn’t want to go Tottenham, he’s because he has to go to court do defend himself for his fiscal problems, we understand it but he cannot take it out on Mario”

3:27-03:56

“This time it’s me who’s fed up. I understand why someone can have enough of it. Unfortunately Man City cannot do anything because with the English system he risks even more sanctions. It’s not worth it. It’s almost an incentive not to look for justice. In England if you look for justice you can expect more sanctions. I’m really fed up”.

He's spot on Howard Webb is a coward he saw it and was bullied out of saying nothing by that cheating weazel Tw*tnapp. He saw did nothing and bottled it absolute sh*thouse.

Are you serious? He's the most harshly treated footballer in England.

That has to be a joke. Please name the second one, in England, so I can see you're not pulling my leg? Oh, and take off the blue glasses so we can have sensible discussion. There's a guy who plays for my Pub team who'd disagree with you for one..............................
Ok, let's start with the Liverpool game where he was sent off very harshly and at the behest and influence of Liverpool's players on the referee.

Then the yellow he got on Sunday. First challenge.

Then we examine Graham Poll's comments "...when you look at a player like Balotelli..." Like Balotelli? Just exactly what is that supposed to mean? But he goes on further "...you look at what mood he is in..."; ok, so you are gonna base any decision on how he looks rather than what he has done. "...and you give a yellow early on to try and keep a lid on it..."; riiiight, so you as a referee back yourself into a corner immediately by looking for ANYTHING remotely foul like to book him which will force you hand later if he commits another offence.

But he's not victimised.

However, I'll back down away from this as you play for a pub team with a lad who would disagree so clearly end of debate; how could we ever challenge that?

For goodness sake, the first challenge WAS obviously a booking offence! As for the Pub team stuff - i didn't say i played, im a bit too old now. But my inference was to suggest there was another english player who felt he was THE most harshly treated- my mate, who does play for our pub.
Please clean the glasses - bit like your view of poor sighted refs..............

hes brings too much attention to himself and is high risk which i dont think we can tolerate... hes had time to wind his head in and has not.. me thinks its time for him to go after his last incident... its great too wear blue shaded shades but a line must be drawn, his ego is out of control and the media can smell blood... i know that dosnt mean its right but thats the way it is here with our filthy media....

Even some of our supporters who don't like Balotelli can agree that he's being treated unfairly. All I've seen from your posts is that you're one of the biggest wum's on this forum. Nothing intelligent to say, just incendiary.

You are right. You don't. Ban would have been 4 games.

-- Tue Jan 24, 2012 10:04 pm --

mario has to go play in a club that has the power to protect him.

Inter had not, and the City is proving to not have it.

there are only 4 clubs in the world who have the strength to protect him, scum, Bayern, Real Madrid and AC Milan, unfortunally.

The times are changing though. We lost this battle but will win the war.
