Balotelli's agent.

Marios agent is a big player. If he's pissed at spurs then he can make things very difficult for them when they need a decent signing
They have been trying to get a striker for like 2 years, can't really get much worse for them. Spurs have peaked this season, without spending big in summer I can't see them achieving more than now. Friedel is just a stop gap, we should refuse to sell them adebayor and see how they get on. Moderic will probably have his head turned in summer.

I am failing to believe that so many City fans think Mario would deliberately set out to hurt someone. He may be mad, but intentionally hurting someone? No.

It's not like Mario had been on the pitch all match, and Parker had been winding him up for 80 minutes either.

Unfortunately the wider reputation he has suggests that he would do it intentional. I don't think for a second he would but most of the country, refs and the FA think he would do it without hesitation.

Spurs are a two bob tin pot outfit. Obviously we dropped a big Bollock letting Adebayor go there, hopefully not one we'll make again.

And how crass is it to berate, slag off and try and humiliate a club that are effectively giving you 100 thousand pounds a week ? A classless disgusting club and one i hope we never do business with or even acknowlege again. I remember Everton doing the same thing after we were kind enough to lend them a player, look at them now ? don't see to many other clubs rushing to help them out of a bind .. not wise to bite the hand that feeds you.

Unfortunately, as much as some of us love him, a minority of blues just don't like him. Regardless of what good he does, some can't forgive his mistakes. You hear them at the game, sniping for him to be brought off, calling him a liability for getting the soft yellow minutes after coming on. The same ones ringing up radio phone-ins to slate their own player!

Fuck me, who needs friends with enemies like those on here. Having played football at a decent level I think I am reasonably qualified to say that I believe there was no intent. Off balance, then pushed by Modric and not even looking anywhere but where the ball has gone. The whole thing was over in less than a second but has been broken down frame by frame by the media. Webb was certainly looking and even said something to the players and gesticulated at them......

I'm all for sticking up for the club and its players, however, not when it's something so blatant. Some of the one eyed comments from our fans on here saying it was never a stamp and then having a go at fellow blues for not agreeing with this view are laughable. By all means think it wasn't a stamp but don't slag off your fellow fans for not agreeing.

Regardless of that stamp let's go into the treatment of a Mario in general. He is hound continually on the pitch by oposition players, he is hounded off the pitch contantly by oposition fans,, singled out by refs and carded for things anyone else would get away with. he has his cars wrecked, pelted with eggs, has his car nearly rolled over while he is parked up at traffic lights with his girlfriend in the car. put yourself in his shoes and you would fucking snap too.

He's wrong about Webb and should retract that first statement. It's been shown so many times that Webb looked away as Parkers tackle finished and looked back just as Mario was falling over after stamping Parker. He didn't see it.

Statements like that don't do anybody any favours.

He is right about the justice thing though - not that Mario has much to defend- but for one like Kompany that split opinions it's not fair that City have to consider the extra game ban that may be applied when they have a very good case for the defence.

ok so why then did it take webb until 7pm on Monday to say he didnt see it? You do not think there is the outside possibility of a situation where he said to the fa that he did see it but did not deem it a sending off at the time and then during yesterday the fa got him to say he did not see it at the time? For my part I believe that is what happened and that is why it was so late in the day when the fa decided to do what they did. I also have sympathy for Mario - west brom sending off not deserved, kiev sending off deserved, liverpool sending off not deserved, spurs sending off retrospectively based on media and fa pressure

I wholeheartedly, 100% agree that he doesn't deserve the treatment he gets.
i love Balo, but I can't turn round and say that he didn't stamp or aim a stamp at Parker, because I believe he did. I can't use his previous treatment as an excuse. To have players like him at our club is ace, and this weekend's incident is something you have to accept will happen with characters like him.

I've been reading this board for a while without registering. I've noticed that there are a few on here who turn round and say that you're not a proper fan if you don't support our players in instances like this. That isn't fair if this was the case then we'd end up hated like the dippers after the suarez thing
