If you represent 64% of the population, of course more white people are going to die in custody every year. But if you really do the math, black deaths are 3 times as high despite having a population 5 times smaller.

You really haven't thought this through have you.

With more black people than white in prison (40% to 34% of the total prison population), it makes even even starker that you are far safer in custody as a black american than as a white one.

You haven't really thought this through as to why the number of black people is higher than whites in prison have you? As we continue to see white police officers not going to jail for unjustly murdering black citizens for starters. You also didn't think through the fact that blacks are given harsher sentences for the same crimes as white people didn't you? You have real nerve.
