Barca away criteria announced

I cant see the situation changing. I wouldn't be surprised that some of those that are on 13,000+ are no longer with us (rip) and their relatives now use their membership.

I've just checked - I still have a pulse although I can't be certain of my mental state.

Relatives "inheriting" S/Ts and the associated privileges used to be a problem with the rags but nobody wants them anymore.

It is harsh when you have paid out money to go. Similar thing happened to me when we played Schalke. I did not have enough points (Managed to get one in the end) Over time though i have gained the points. System is not going to change
sorry mate, got delayed in the Alps with the heavy snowfall over the weekend so couldn't order your ticket for you
looks like you'll be stood outside!

Ha, Like Roma away lol
let's hope GDM has a spare then!

Demand is much higher than I thought.

I know a few guys who aren't going who just snapped up the tickets for the fun of it. Sold them on to pals with under 2,000 points.

The club needs to stop this. The gulf between those with high end points ie 10k and above and everyone else is just increasing because those fans are buying tickets just to accumulate points.

For european away games the club should do what they had to do with the Roma away tickets, "each ticket must be registered and used by the supporter who has purchased it" which has the names on the back which corresponds with the passport.

This could deter the point-whores
Send thier names to the ticket office,if you feel so strongly,it will be dealt with, as Tickets are non transferable.
It is your chance to make the system fairer or are you mischief making ?

No no, not making mischief, pal. I have already informed Supporter services about this, for what its worth.

My main concern is that the the top tier of supporters with 10k points and above are moving further away from everyone else, year on year. I have signed up for Platinum, cup schemes etc and gone to every away game I could go for and I haven't seen any change in my chances of obtaining tickets to a barca match. Missed out last year which was sold out on 9,000 points, and the same this time on 10,000. I have gained about 1,000 within that year.

Seeing people who have jumped on bandwagon since 2009 buying tickets from the point-whores is just the tip of the iceburg and a light slap in the face.

Would be happy if the club sold 80% of the allocated away tickets in its usual format, and then the remaining 20% of the allocation goes in a ballot there after.

Just an idea.

I've left mine in my will to a nephew, thought nothing of it tbh

But you wouldnt be happy if you had the points and some one was getting your ticket through a ballot
Your gripe should not be with the loyalty system, but with the amount of tickets that go to various other groups.

If you are on platinum plus the cup schemes you gained 980 points before the season kicked off
therefore 20 more points and you have 'caught up' this year's increase for Barca away, ie 1000 points

but you say you've gone to all away games
10 away league games went to less than 8000 points = 10x40 = 400 more points
four home CL games, two home FA Cup games and two home CC games = 7x20 = 160 points
and three CL away games = 3x40 = 120 points

therefore added 1680 points onto your total than last year, whilst Barca sold out at 1000 more than last year.

Hence you have caught up 660 points already, so don't lose heart

As others have said, you put in the time it eventually pays off
