When you complained that the game "had very little interest" I pointed out that it hadn't yet gone on open sale, not that it wouldn't. Bearing in mind they'd already announced open sale for the following day that would have been a bit of a silly thing to say.
I didn't say we had "high demand". You're wriggling like a worm and rewriting the conversation. Classic straw man arguing. For absolute clarity I told you to stop whinging about ticket sales like a United kid, and not to spout uninformed bollocks about "very little demand".
I can't believe I'm having a playground argument with someone who not only tells bareface lies, but calls the Champions League "The Chimps League" like a 12 year old. Grow up, mate. It's the biggest competition in Europe and you might get all silly about your camera flashes or whatever else, but stay off the moral high ground because you can rest assured that everyone at Manchester City, including Sheikh Mansour, will be desperate to win this game. And so am I. And so are plenty of others given the ticket sales.
I think it's pretty fair to say there's a significant portion of City fans who aren't keen on the CL. The loudest noise at our last two home games has been the booing of the anthem. That doesn't mean I don't want City to win though and I'll be there.
Eh?? Were you at the Bayern game? We had arguably our best atmosphere of the season during our comeback other than the derby. Aguero's winner was a mini-QPR moment. I left that match thankful I'd stuck with the CL cup scheme because it was the best finale for a long time.
I left the ground thinking the exact same thing, and it felt like an awakening for the fans in their feelings towards the competition.
