Barca v City Post Match Thread

I was at work. Presumably if it wasn't for the red card, they would have been 1-0 up?
they were 1-0 up to a really unlucky slip in the box from dinho but we were right back on em, better team. I think, not sure, Suarez's shot was going in that Bravo handballed

Brave call to bench aguero but to be fair we were doing alright as a team, maybe I'd go as far to say we were the better team, unforced individual errors cost us, against the likes of Bournemouth, Stoke or United and you'd get away with it, but this is a different kettle of fish. Let's take the positives, put it down to experience and fuckin batter them at home, CTID
Sorry no one yet has clearly explained why Kun was benched tonight

left and right back needs addressing ASAP oh and the right partner for Stones
Yep - I think Stones will be torn to pieces for his performance but I really believe he was let down by the more experienced Kolarov & Otamendi who rarely help younger players - remember Chelsea last year when the youth were thrown in and the only players who let them down were the older ones. We need a leader. Frustrating for me is that you never mind being beaten by a great team but to gift wrap them 3 goals from poor classes/decisions is criminal. I also thought Silva disappeared when the going got tough which is a surprise I expect a reaction on Sunday! Finally Sterling was a real plus - back to being direct which is a good sign.

A slip and a red card decided the result... we didn't play bad for me, just feels like luck is against us recently.

In what world can Bravo's red card be brushed off as luck? Or Gundogan's garbage pass? Or our shite tackling and sloppy passing in our own half. Yeah we looked good until the red card but we had zilch to show for it, and when the piss came to the boil, it didn't help when Bravo went AWOL.

Bravo made 1 mistake. And it fucked us. When you are a keeper, you cannot make mistakes. When your goalie plays as a sweeper, they will. Period. Look at neuer, ter stegen. All the time they make mistakes. like last year with raheem, you can all talk shit and i will wait to be proven right. Btw, when we last played barca we conceded about 15 chances cos hart cannot come out for the ball and clean up. They kept playing the diagonal and we would have lost 3 or 4 nil anyway, as suarez, messi etc. Would be through on goal. Fernandinho mistake just as bad. Wtf is up with the studs?

CHILL OUT BLUES.
Nobody, certainly not pep, said this would be easy. So in the nicest way, calm your tits.

Indeed, whoever believes this was peps fault clearly didn't watch the game and just kept checking the score on their phones! We were the better team until the red card.

Exactly, anything after that Bravo error is pretty much meaningless, Pep can't plan for errors like that and the error from Fern. For 60minutes we were creating chances and should have been level, i'll be happy if we play like we did tonight (for the first 60mins), when we play them at our place.
