Of course he’s judging them, why else would he give them minutes?

He’s not making a judgement based solely on this game, but you can bet he’s taking it into account.
He’s giving them minutes so we don’t have to play first team players for 90 mins in a friendly 3 games into the season. Not rocket science really

Even if the tickets were £25 each, 91,000 attendees makes nearly £2.3m for the cause.

Plus we got some good minutes into our legs (we looked off it on Sunday and looked like we could do with another game this week to get the fitness up).
Less expenses and commemorative gifts

Still shocked of all seasons to decide to have the leagues smallest squad with such a condensed calendar. We haven’t even started playing twice a week yet and down to bare bones! Silly and unnecessary.
If only there was some mechanism in place, set up by international football, to allow the buying of additional players?

I wonder when keepers are just going to stand on that side of the goal and catch the ball. Mahrez puts it there pretty much all of the time!

Apart from Anfield…
It’s effectively what Fabianski did last season. Keepers typically pick a bottom corner to dive to. For me it wasn’t luck or coincidence that he chose to dive so high.
